Thirty-three year old Alexian Lien sped away from stunt motorcyclists who had surrounded his car and were damaging it on the Henry Hudson Parkway in New York.  The problem is that, in speeding away, Mr. Lien ran over another motorcyclist who was not damaging his car, Edwin Mieses Jr., leaving him paralyzed due to an apparent injury to his spinal cord sustained in the accident.

Two of the bikers have been charged in the confrontation, but Lien has not been charged with anything yet.  The investigation is continuing.
