Practice Area: Family Estate Disputes

Outcome: $275,000 settlement

Description: We represented the beneficiary of two IRA accounts owned by a decedent. The executor of the decedent's estate filed suit to rescind or reform the decedent's beneficiary designations to favor herself. We filed a separate suit against the executor, alleging that she violated the no-contest clause in the decedent's will by pursuing her suit. After a successful mediation, our client received a $275,000 settlement.
