The crash, which occurred on December 28, 2019, caused the client's car to go airborne, flipping multiple times, after a tractor trailer made an unsafe lane change and clipped the rear of the car.The Roanoke federal court jury heard 4 days of medical evidence before deciding to award the client $3.5 million in compensatory damages for her injuries. Firm founder Kevin Mottley said, "this jury was excellent. They paid close attention to the medical evidence, which was overwhelming. This crash changed her life forever and for the worse. The jury did her justice." The trial judge was U.S. District Court Judge Thomas Cullen.
